Autumn Wild Food Weekend

Description: A two day introduction to finding, collecting and cooking Autumn food plants including nuts and berries, designed for people who would like to extend a limited or superficial knowledge of wild food plants and gain confidence in foraging and cooking wild foods in a supported, outdoors environment. This is very much a practical taste of foraging and outdoors cooking, using techniques which you can easily adapt to the kitchen, back garden or practice for yourself on camping holidays. All food used on the course will be supplied from local sources; maximum numbers 8. Children over 15 accompanied by an adult are welcome.

The course takes place at The Orchard Campsite, one of the UK's prettiest campsites in the county of Suffolk, offering a perfect balance of outdoors living and creature comforts such as hot showers! A course outline and kit list will be posted to clients after they have booked, although if you have any questions, queries or concerns prior to booking, please email me.
